I liked the location, my teenage son commented after a trip to the theatre that he was so grateful that we were staying in the Lower East Side where there was a neighborhood to walk around. It gave him a sense of the Real New York experience. Loved the walk each morning to the Cocoabar on Clinton Street.
I was shocked at the space of the room, we could not fit our suitcases in the room so my son had to put one suitcase on top of the wardrobe. We had to totally rearrange the room and clear off all surfaces to accomodate our luggage, It was the smallest room I have ever stayed in, for the price it was shocking!
Very good bed, small but obliging staff. The room, though small, was perfectly adequate and had useful things like an iron, ironing board, small refrigerator. The room, while not utterly silent, was pleasantly quiet.
The breakfast room was clean but very small--2 tiny tables, small counter. One conversation between tables fills the room--I took my breakfast back upstairs. But that's a matter of personal preference--I don't think it would necessarily bother everyone. The coffee was fine.
Excellent hotel, with a very nice staff, good beakfast, excellent location (close to a lot of PUBs, restaurants and the F and J line of the metro). Overall, the cost-benefit was the best I could find with the requirements I was looking for (comfort, individual bethroom, breakfast and location near a metro line).
Staff allowed us to check in early making our trip to New York very enjoyable. The room, while small, was perfect for our needs. Felt like a bed and breakfast.
The atention of the hotel staff
The breakfast area is too small and hot.
Everything worked fine and the hotel is very good: clean, confortable, good employees, with good localization (near subway)
The fire alarm didnt work very well one day, and everybody neeed to go downstairs.
Quiet Location Small and onexpensive
Clean, close to subway, close to little Italy etc.
Great friendly staff. Gave me the room in advance as i was travelling from long distance. Nice location in East site, close to Orchard Rd, young and lively area
Clean, friendly and helpfull stuff.
the breakfast was very poor. I stayed at hotel for 4 nights and the same food was every single day. They serve only eggs and some kind of meat what I even could not call meat.
Fantastic staff very eager to help. The rooms, although a little small, were very clean. The location is reasonable, depending on what your plans are for each day. We walked ti the World Trade Centre, Wall Street, Statue of Liberty Wharf and Pier 17. Times Square is only a train ride away
The location was fantastic- really easy going vibe to the area; nice people; close by the many great spots to eat. Liked having Steve Madden shoe shop a few steps away. Easy to get to Little Italy restaurants, Soho area shopping. Comfortable beds; roomy bathroom; room fit our luggage fine. It was myself, my husband and my 3 year old- we had a great time exploring the area- Essex food market, Candy Store, Katz deli, list goes on...
Tv is high-definition，breakfast is good
Room is quite small，and the network failed to work during the day we lived in
The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast had a nice variety and was replenished as needed. The rooms are small, but the hotel will store your suitcases for you in another room. The housekeeping staff does an excellent job of keeping the rooms clean for a multiple night stay. Overall it was a good experience.
The room is small so things like packing and unpacking were very difficult. We had to store our stroller in the shower due to lack of space.
The convenience of the location. Plus the rooms though small were sufficient and the bed was comfortable.
The continental breakfast was brilliant but there are several eateries nearby which offer breakfast
